TRUCK - 'HELLO, AVALANCHE'
By The Octopus Project (Copyright 2007)

Sit out during the intro and the first verse.

The bass comes in during the first chorus. With FUZZ!! There's a slight pause between the last two measures.

(Chorus)
G ----------6-9--------------------------9-6------------------------------------------
D ------7-9----------------------------------9-7--------------------------------------
A -9----------------5-5-555-5-555-5--9--------------5-5-555-5-555-5--5-5-555-5-555-5--
E ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

There's a slight pause between all the measures. Still fuzz.

(Verse)
G --------------------------------------------------------------------
D --------------------------------------------------------------------
A 0-0-000-0-000-0--0-0-000-0-000-0--5-5-555-5-555-5--0-0-000-0-000-0-- x 2
E --------------------------------------------------------------------

(Chorus) #2

Then, altered verse. It's a little muddy with everything else in there too, but you can hear this by itself right before the 9 hits at the very end of the song. I'm not really sure how to tab it out either. Just keep kinda droning on the "A" while shooting up the neck.

(Altered Verse)                     (Big Hits!)
G -----9----14----18----------      G-----------------------------------------------
D ----5---11----14------------      D-----------------------------------------------
A 0000--00----00----0000-- x 4      A-00----00----00----00----00----00----00----00--
E ----------------------------      E-----------------------------------------------

Then, turn off fuzz, and let the notes ring through each measure.

(Verse - quiet)
G --------------------------------------------------------------------
D -------------------------------12------------------------------------
A 12--------------12----------------------------12-------------------x 2
E --------------------------------------------------------------------

Then, drop out during the quiet chorus. Except the end of this chorus is one measure longer, and you come back in with fuzz:

G ----------------!!!!!!!
D ----------------!!!!!!!
A 555555555555555-!!!!!!!
E ----------------!!!!!!!

(Altered Verse x 9) - Last time by yourself

End on hitting the low "A" 9 times.

G -----------!!!!!!!
D -----------!!!!!!!
A -000000000-!!!!!!!
E -----------!!!!!!!

BEES BEIN' STRUGGLIN' - 'HELLO, AVALANCHE'
By The Octopus Project (Copyright 2007)

There's no guitar until the little breakdown at 1:10, but if you want to come up with stuff for the beginning please do!

At the breakdown, the guitar comes in with a little ping-pong delay. By the end of the breakdown part the delay becomes slowly more feedbacky. I'm not totally sure how to do this live except to move the knob with your foot.

Also, at the end of the 5th go around, there is an ascending scale thing that needs to be totally clean.

E ----------------------------------------------
B --------------------------13---13-------------
G ---12---12-10---------------------10----------
D 14------------14------14-------------14------- x 5
A ----------------------------------------------
E ----------------------------------------------

Here's that ascending thing:

E -----------------------
B ------------------3-5--
G ------------2-4-5------
D ------2-3-5------------
A 2-3-5------------------
E -----------------------

Then, kinda mildy distorted middle solo part:

E ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
B ---------------------------------------------------------7-----------------------------
G -----------------------------------------------------------7---------------------------
D --------------------------------------5--7--9--12--9--7------9--7--5--7-\4--5-/7--5-\4-
A 2--3--5--7--5--2--3--5--7-/10--5--7----------------------------------------------------
E ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

E ---------------------------------------------------------------
B ------------------------------------------(fast strumming)-----
G ------------------------------------------7--------/12---11----
D ---------4ho5--7ho9-/10--9--7--5--7--9----9--------/14---12----
A ---5-/7--------------------------------------------------------
E ---------------------------------------------------------------

Then, back to the main part.

(fast strumming - the first chord is twice as long as the other two)

E 15----------------------12-----------12----------
B 12----------------------13-----------12----------
G 12----------------------12-----------12----------
D ------------------------------------------------- x 3
A -------------------------------------------------
E -------------------------------------------------

End by hitting the first chord of that sequence and making lots of cool feedback noises.
